This cast iron pan has plenty of room for cooking food, on the hob or in the oven, with a smooth griddle surface on one side for sauteing and a grooved reverse side for barbecue-style searing of meat, fish and vegetables. You can even use it for baking flatbreads.
From Lodge Cast Iron in Tennessee, USA, the pan can handle high temperatures and is extremely hard-wearing. It won't dent, bend or warp and it's even safe to use with sharp metal kitchen tools. Cast iron distributes heat evenly across its surface and it retains heat so you can start cooking on the hob or stove and finish it in the oven. It's also ideal for oven-to-table serving using the twin handles to carry the pan. Just make sure to use a pair of oven gloves.
The pan's grilling surface drains off fat with its ridges, leaving grill marks on your food, such as a succulent steak. Not only can it be used on the hob or oven, this pan is tough enough to go under the grill, on the barbecue and can be used for campfire cooking too. Reseasoning it regularly for the best results. The pan comes pre-seasoned for immediate use.
