Description

Austrian painter Gustav Klimt produced a series of landscapes throughout his career inspired by his summer vacations spent in the picturesque town of Salzkammergut in Austria. In 1901, he produced the oil painting ‘Tannenwald (Fir Forest) I’ which includes a sea of orange-tinted trees that have been rendered in a strict vertical rhythm. The dazzling surface aligns with Klimt's decorative tendencies.

An archival giclee print on heavyweight canvas, hand-stretched on a solid pine wood frame with a handmade, hand-finished sustainably sourced solid wood rim frame. Made in the UK by museum specialists, it's ready to hang on your wall.
