The Shimano Altus FD-M2000 front derailleur is designed to provide dependable front shifting performance for 3x9-speed hybrid and recreational bicycles. Featuring Shimano's proven wide-link construction and conventional swing design, it delivers reliable gear changes with reduced shifting effort.
The dual-pull cable system allows compatibility with both top-pull and bottom-pull cable routing configurations, making installation straightforward on a wide variety of frames. Its low-friction linkage improves rigidity and shifting precision while maintaining long-term durability.
Designed specifically for hybrid bicycle geometry with a 63-66 degree chainstay angle range, the FD-M2000 supports outer chainrings from 44T to 48T and is optimised for a 50mm chainline.
