Description
A Shimano CUES single chainset gives a clean 1x drivetrain setup for riders moving to simpler, lower-maintenance gearing. The 40T chainring and 170mm crank length are suited to compatible trekking, MTB and urban bikes using Shimano 9, 10 or 11-speed drivetrains.
Dynamic Chain Engagement+ tooth shaping improves chain retention on rough surfaces, helping the drivetrain run smoothly without a front derailleur. The 2-piece Hollowtech II style design is built for efficient pedalling and uses an outboard bottom bracket arrangement.
