The HollowTech II 12-speed Ultegra chainset offers an ideal balance of light weight and stiffness, making it suitable for both enthusiast and competitive riders.
The HollowGlide hollow outer chainring delivers significant improvements in rigidity by virtually eliminating outer chainring flex, resulting in greatly enhanced shifting performance even under high load.
Chainring teeth have been developed to work in conjunction with 12-speed HG chains, increasing contact for greater efficiency and improved power transfer.
Industry-leading HollowTech II cold forged 4-arm hollow crank design has been evolved to maximise rigidity while reducing overall weight.
Wide gear pitch spacing increases clearance between the chain and leading teeth, providing compatibility with frames using O.L.D. 135 / 142 mm.
A wide range of chainring options and crank arm lengths are available to meet the needs of different riders and racing disciplines.
The HollowTech II integrated bottom bracket uses wider bearing placement and a larger axle diameter to increase stiffness and pedalling efficiency.
