Shimano PD-M540 Dual Sided SPD MTB SM-SH51 Cleats 9/16in Bike Pedal...
Description
Description
Built for mountain biking, cyclocross and year-round riding, the PD-M540 uses a compact dual-sided SPD mechanism so the rider can clip in from either face. The open body leaves space for mud and debris to clear around the binding in poor trail conditions.
Entry and release tension can be adjusted to suit rider preference, while the chrome-moly spindle and sealed cartridge axle keep maintenance requirements low. The pedals work with compatible recessed two-bolt SPD footwear and include SM-SH51 single-release cleats.
Key Features
- Dual-sided binding enables quick engagement from either side.
- Open mechanism sheds mud and debris around the cleat interface.
- Adjustable spring tension changes the force needed to clip in and release.
- Sealed cartridge bearings reduce routine axle maintenance.
- Stable pedal platform supports compatible SPD footwear.
- SM-SH51 cleats are included for compatible two-bolt cycling shoes.
