Introducing Shimano's innovative and versatile PDT8000 XT MTB SPD Trekking pedals, designed to meet the demands of commuters and touring enthusiasts alike. Whether cycling to work or heading out on a long-distance adventure, these pedals deliver reliable performance and flexibility.
One side of the pedal features an SPD mechanism for efficient power transfer when using cleats. Flip the pedal over to reveal a stable, high-grip platform body with numerous pins that provide optimized traction. This dual-sided design ensures versatility, allowing confident riding whether wearing cycling shoes or everyday footwear.
A low-profile platform height provides a large contact area for excellent stability and support. Lightweight yet high performing, the pedals are constructed from a forged alloy body paired with a durable chrome-moly axle. An 8 mm hex wrench mounting system allows for quick and straightforward installation.
For long-lasting reliability and easy maintenance, the pedals use a sealed cartridge axle system. An uncomplicated SPD entry system with adjustable tension keeps the cleat secure, while built-in reflectors enhance visibility and safety in low-light conditions.
