Description
Description
Shimano’s Ultegra BR-R8170 front caliper provides hydraulic disc braking in a compact flat-mount format for modern road frames and forks. The two-piston body applies even pressure to the pads for controlled braking in dry or wet conditions.
Wider pad clearance than earlier generations helps reduce incidental rotor noise, while the bleed arrangement is designed to simplify workshop servicing. A suitable rotor, hose and compatible Shimano road lever are required to complete the system.
