Description
The Shimano XTR Di2 drivetrain upgrade kit introduces fast wireless electronic shifting to a compatible 12-speed mountain bike. The long-cage rear derailleur uses a low-profile, impact-resistant design intended for demanding cross-country, trail and enduro riding, with automatic impact recovery helping the mechanism move away from obstacles and return to its operating position.
The kit combines the wireless rear derailleur with a band-on handlebar switch, removable battery and charging adapter. The shift switch provides tactile operation and configurable controls, while the protected battery installation keeps the power source within the derailleur body. This long-cage configuration is designed for wide-range 12-speed cassettes with a largest sprocket of up to 51 teeth.
